RESORT OPERATIONS – COVID-19 VIRUS UPDATE
We are closely monitoring the quickly changing Novel Coronavirus / COVID-19 situation and
the impact to our Resort Operations. We are complying with guidance issued by Health
Canada as well as local public health authorities, and responding to actions taken by the
Province of Ontario and local officials as well as conditions in the surrounding community.
As a result, we have Closed Carriage Hills Resort effective Sunday March 22nd and are not
accepting any reservations through to April 30th. This may change with the evolving Novel
Coronavirus / COVID-19 situation.
Our housekeeping and maintenance staff have completed cleaning all departed rooms as well
as attended to any maintenance deficiencies in our rooms. We have taken all available
measures to conserve energy in the rooms, turned off pool and hot tub heaters and
suspended services such as satellite TV and reduced the frequency of waste collection in
order to save the association money.
The health and safety of our owners, guests, and associates is our top priority. We continue
to operate the resort on a skeleton staff for asset protection and security while practicing
physical and social distancing as recommended.
While we are disappointed that we will not be able to host you at the resort at this time, we
appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the health and safety of our owners,
guests, and associates, and help prevent the spread of illness.
