8 victories of Azerbaijani chess players at the European Championship

(MENAFN-AzerNews) The matches of the second round of the European Championship for Women Chess were held.

Citing İdman, Azernews reports that ten intellectuals from Azerbaijan are also participating in the competition held on the island of Rhodes.

Eight of them ended the tour with victory. While 1 of the Azerbaijani chess players shared the points, only 1 was upset by the defeat.

It should be noted that 183 chess players compete for prizes at the European Championship.
