Japanese Skewered Chicken

This is a traditional Japanese meal that gets its woodsy flavor from grilling chicken on skewers over a charcoal fire. Tarte sauce is served alongside. But nowadays many eateries serve teriyaki sauce with it.

Miso soup

This recipe should be at the top of your list if you love salads and soups. This traditional Japanese soup is prepared with a mix of vegetables and dried fish, such as tuna, bonito and baby sardines, along with seaweed. Variations of this dish are available all over the world.
