9 killed when van and truck collide in Jhalawar; 1 held

As many as nine people, who were returning from a wedding in Madhya Pradesh, were killed in a road accident after a truck collided with a van in Jhalawar in Rajasthan on Sunday morning. Richa Tomar, Superintendent of Police, Jhalawar, said the deceased were on their way home when the vehicle they were traveling in collided with a truck.

The suspects in the incident have been arrested. Superintendent of Police Richa Tomar said, “Nine people were killed in a road accident in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. The victims in the car were returning from a wedding procession when the incident took place. The suspect was arrested. Police are interrogating him and further investigation is underway.”

Aklera police station in-charge Sandeep Bishnoi said all the deceased belonged to the Bagri community. The family members have been informed about the accident. The bodies were kept at the Aklera Community Health Center. More details are expected. (ANI)
