2 dead, 2 injured in solo car crash in Buena Park – Orange County Register

Two men were killed and another two people were injured after a car collided with a traffic light in Buena Park early Saturday, Buena Park police said.

Around 3:47 a.m., officers were called to the collision on Beach Boulevard at Cascade Way, south of Malvern Avenue, police said in a statement Saturday evening.

Police discovered a car with four people inside was on fire at the southwest corner of Beach Boulevard and the Stage Road/Cascade Way intersection, Saturday’s statement said.

The Orange County Fire Authority extinguished the fire and removed two passengers from the vehicle, both of whom were transported to a medical center for treatment, Saturday’s statement said. Information about their circumstances was not immediately available.

Two men in their 30s, the driver and a front passenger in the vehicle, were pronounced dead at the scene, the police statement said.

It was not immediately known what caused the crash.
