Men’s tennis wins Pac-12 championship

BERKELEY, California – Taking home the Pac-12 trophy, No. 20 Stanford men’s tennis clinched its share of the Pac-12 championship with a 4-1 victory over No. 59 California on Saturday at the Hellman Tennis Complex. The Cardinal improves to 15-5 on the season and finishes 7-1 in conference play.

The Pac-12 title is the Cardinal’s 19th in program history and Stanford’s first since 2021, when it won the outright championship. Stanford will share the 2024 title with Arizona.

The Cardinal took an early lead in doubles, posting victories on courts two and three. Samir Banerjee And Nishesh Basavareddy took a 6-1 victory on court two, while Aryan Chaudhary And Hard Hemang Parikh took the advantage on court three, 6-4.
